Bishops

In the Diocese of Atlanta we are blessed to have two active bishops and one who is retired from full-time ministry.  

Bishop of Atlanta J. Neil Alexander was elected in 2001 to follow the eighth bishop of Atlanta, the Rt. Rev. Frank K. Allan, who later founded the Work of Our Hands arts ministry.

The Rt. Rev. Keith B. Whitmore moved to Atlanta in April 2008 to become assistant bishop.
